Wood Form

Shape Study | 2008

This is the first model I made within a shape study task in my college. Funny is that back then I already made use of advanced surfaces and form continuities without actually knowing what those words meant. The wood grains act almost as zebra lines and do a great job accentuating the curves of which the model consists. I appreciate this form very much and it's almost a summary of all design principles that I have developed since then.
